I worked on Disney’s Lilo & Stitch as a Computer Graphics Supervisor at ILM. It was a joyful challenge: the studio’s published credits list me among the CG Supervisors, helping bring one of animation’s most recognisable characters into a live-action world.
The film had to bring a fully digital Stitch into scenes with live performers while preserving the warmth, mischief, and comic timing of the original character. That balance was the fun of it: Stitch needed to feel physically present in the scene while still being unmistakably Stitch.
My job sat across character performance, animation, lighting, compositing, and production schedules. The best result is when the audience stops thinking about the technique entirely and simply accepts that this little blue alien is right there, causing trouble.
