I worked on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 as a Computer Graphics Supervisor at Animal Logic. The film’s enormous finale brought together digital environments, destruction, atmosphere, and crowd work, all of it needing to operate as one continuous battle.

The Battle of Hogwarts was exactly the kind of challenge I love. The audience has to feel the scale and danger of a collapsing world while still following the characters and the emotional story. I worked across the artists and technical teams to keep the sequence connected as many departments contributed to the same spectacular event.

It was a constant balancing act between visual fidelity and technical scalability. We had complex lighting and render requirements, a huge number of assets and shots, and a story that deserved every bit of ambition we could bring to it.
